Peach Afghan

Peach crocheted afghan draped over a large rock with a waterfall in the background

I recently finished crocheting this throw-sized afghan. I love taking pictures of my completed afghans beside this waterfall at a nearby park, but it let me down this day – the waterfall was in the shade and the big rock wasn’t. I’m including the picture anyway, so you’ll just have to deal with it. ๐Ÿ˜€ The waterfall is still pretty – it’s just more of a background actor than a main character this time!

I used the First Born Love Afghan pattern by The Crochet Fix. I stitched 16 of the triangles “bands” before the border. I did my own thing for the border, trying to continue the “triangles” theme from the center of the afghan.

I used 6 skeins of “I Love This Yarn” in #230 Light Peach. It’s approximately 50″ to 55″ square. I forgot to measure it after I finished it, and I already put it away and I don’t want to take the time to go measure it right now. ๐Ÿ™‚

This old wagon appeared at the park last fall, decorated with hay bales and mums. The hay and flowers are gone, but they haven’t taken the wagon away yet, so I get to use it for my photos.

Happy stitching!
