Cross-stitch design Heartfelt Invitation from Quilts From The Garden

Heartfelt Invitation shows a quilt hung on a line tied between two porch posts. I can’t remember the name of this quilt block, so if you know the name, please comment so I can update this post. The porch features elaborately-carved trim. A tall window in the house wall has blue shutters and allows us to see white ruffled curtains inside. A blue bowl on the porch holds white flowers. Several different colors and types of flowers grow in front of the porch.

Cross-stitch design Lovely Lilies from Quilts From The Garden

Lovely Lilies features a Carolina Lily quilt draped over a white wooden swing that’s hanging from a large tree. Irises and pink roses and small white flowers grow around the swing and tree. In the background, the front porch of a house holds some hanging baskets with ferns. The porch has elaborate trim.

Cross-stitch design Delicate Dogwood from Quilts From The Garden

Delicate Dogwood shows a quilt with appliqued pink dogwood blossoms draped over a barbed wire fence. A straw hat rests on the quilt. A basket holding flowers sits on the ground beside the quilt. Irises grow along the fence. Above, a dogwood tree branch holds white dogwood blossoms.

Cross-stitch design Delightful Daffodils from Quilts From The Garden

Delightful Daffodils shows a quilt draped over the steps of a front porch. I think the flowers appliqued on the quilt look more like tulips, but they are yellow. A straw hat rests on the quilt. A basket on the top step holds flowers, and a small blue metal bucket holds pink flowers. Irises and daffodils grow beside the porch steps.

Cross-stitch design Flower Garden Favorite from Quilts From The Garden

A metal bucket holds flowers, and a couple of empty terra cotta flower pots are stacked beside the far wall. A two-story white house is visible across the yard.

Refreshing Heirlooms shows a Rose of Sharon quilt and a Nosegay quilt draped over a front porch railing. Pink roses grow beside the porch. A wooden chair on the porch has a blue bonnet hanging on the back. A flower pot holding white flowers sits on the porch, and another potted plant is visible through the window of the house.

Cross-stitch design Treasure Trove from Quilts From The Garden

Treasure Trove features a storage chest with a stack of quilts. The largest quilt is a Grandmother’s Flower Garden, and the two quilts folded up appear to have appliqued tulips and roses. A white bonnet hangs on a corner of the opened chest lid A hatbox decorated with roses and a pink ribbon sits on the floor beside the chest. A pink pitcher and basin sit on the floor near the window.

Cross-stitch design Sweet Ohio Rose from Quilts From The Garden

Cross-stitch design Peony Paradise from Quilts From The Garden

Peony Paradise features a quilt made with pink Peony blocks draped over a white wicker rocking chair that’s sitting in a garden. Small yellow flowers grow on the ground around the chair. In the background, irises and roses grow along a white wooden fence. The gate stands open. A straw hat with a blue ribbon hangs on one of the gate posts.

Cross-stitch design Beloved Rose of Sharon from Quilts From The Garden

Beloved Rose of Sharon depicts a sewing room scene. A Singer treadle sewing machine holds a Rose of Sharon quilt made with yellow fabrics for the roses. I’m not sure what is on the sewing desk to the left of the quilt – is that a small sewing basket? A pair of black scissors sits beside the mystery item, and a stray spool of thread rests on the right side of the machine. A wooden sewing box sits on the floor beside the quilt. Behind the machine, an old-fashioned pink dress hangs on a dress form in front of the floral wallpapered walls.

Cross-stitch design Sunflower Romance from Quilts From The Garden

Sunflower Romance features a wooden wagon with an appliqued sunflowers quilt draped over the edge. A blue bucket or bowl sits on the wagon’s seat and holds sunflowers. Daisies grow on the ground around the wagon’s wheels.
